Jim Ross, Chief Executive Officer of Sharpe Group, Announces New Team Members

Sharpe Group recently announced the arrival of new team members Jana McAlpin, a Consulting Associate, and Marketing Associate Melissa Paul.

Jana McAlpinJana McAlpin is a recent graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Business Administration in Marketing. Before joining Sharpe Group, Jana served on the National Direct Marketing Acquisition Team for ALSAC/St. Jude and was an advertising representative for The Reflector, Mississippi State’s newspaper. She has volunteered her time and talent at many nonprofit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity in Starkville, MS, Operation Christmas Child in Vicksburg and the Humane Society in Starkville and Vicksburg.

As Consulting Associate, Jana will work with the Sharpe consulting team and partner with clients to help them develop and strengthen their gift planning fundraising strategies.

Melissa PaulMelissa Paul is a 2015 graduate of Rhodes College, where she received a B.A. in International Studies and History. Her coursework in Memphis was supplemented by a rigorous study abroad program at the University of Oxford and a marketing internship in the central business district of Hong Kong the following year. As both a resident of Memphis and an alumna of Delta Delta Delta sorority, volunteer work is an integral part of her life, particularly with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Humane Society of Memphis and Hong Kong Dog Rescue.

Melissa will perform nonprofit market research and work on various marketing initiatives, such as maintaining Sharpe’s client interface data. She will also work with the Sharpe marketing and consulting teams to select and coordinate conference attendance and consultants’ speaking engagements, as well as support a variety of digital marketing campaigns.
